"Urban Exploration", "Haunted Cemeteries", and "Road Geekery"

Mcolloch's Leap is by far one of the cooler sites in Wheeling, Wv. The story goes that during the Revolutionary War, Ray McCollochs and his hourse jumped near this spot to avoid Indians. Is it monument worthy, I don't know. Is it still kinda cool, yes.

The above pictures are of the statue and momument. This is located on US 40 (gee, is that road a reoccuring theme) in Wheeling, Wva.

By far one of my favorite parts of this area is the above structure. For years as a child I thought it was some abondoned post modern public works. Then I found out that most call it "The Concrete Castle".
