“Urban Exploration”, “Haunted Cemeteries”, and “Road Geekery”

Lake View cemetery is was the goal of my first trip to Cleveland. This cemetery is so amazing. The sad thing is that I became slightly jaded by the end of the trip by all of the cool stuff. Things like mausoleum, grave stones with stained glass in them, bronze plaques and inlays, and statues are really common. Some of the most noteable people I can think of that are buried there are President Garfield, John D. Rockefeller, Elliot Ness (I couldn’t find his tomb), and Jeptha Wade (first president of Lakeview Cemetery Assoication, Wade Chapel is named after him, co-founded Case Western school of applied science, and is a bit of a local legend).
